Our regular autumn tour this year took us last weekend to the historic city of Winchester, where we had the pleasure of joining with the Hampshire County Youth Choir and their musical director Michael Whiteside for a joint concert reprising works from our Journeys programme, the first out-of-London performance of Cheryl Frances-Hoad's So True a Fool is Love , together with fine performances by HCYC including works by Bruckner and Gjeilo. The concert was carefully timed to finish before Winchester's popular bonfire procession and fireworks display! On Sunday we entertained visitors to the famous Great Hall and Round Table with two short lunchtime sets.
